IT IS PARTICULARLY IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO LET US KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IF YOU CAN'T BE ON THE TEAM BECAUSE THAT WILL OPEN UP A SPOT FOR SOMEONE ELSE.

THE SEASON
TRYOUT DATES ARE TBA, but will be held at the end of the high school season. The first will be during the playoffs for those players whose seasons have ended, and the last will be right after the Long Island Championships, with players on the teams that advance brought in individually for tryouts once their season ends.
You are eligible for your first practice two days after your last game of the season. Once you make the team, we practice twice a week, and games begin in April and go through mid May. We play four pool games, once a week on average, and a maximum of four games in the Championship round, all in one weekend. In order to minimize conflicts with school and AAU teams, we schedule our practices and games after reviewing our players schedules, and that has worked well for us over the years, but just in case, we carry a 20 man roster to make sure we are never shorthanded. Players earn a spot on the 10 man game roster in practice, and are guaranteed to play in at least one pool game if they come to practices.

Congratulations and many thanks!
